Visual Analytics Interface Design for Parameter Optimization

Visual analytics systems aim to transform data into knowledge by integrating visualization and automation. We present a classification of the elements of the parameter optimization problem from a perceptual perspective. To illustrate its utility, we apply this classification to the design of a visual analytics interface for parameter optimization of biomedical image analysis algorithms. Author
